Gear Up For Astros Baseball

This has happened a couple of times in the last few days, so I would like to know y’all’s (in Texas, this is a word) opinion about bringing in superstars in the 9th inning or extras in order to provide speed on the bases or a better defensive player. This happens to almost every team. San Fran did it a lot when Barry Bonds was there. The Astros do it with Carlos. In my opinion, I would rather take our chances with Carlos in the outfield or on the bases. In the outfield, we’ll be playing no doubles anyway so speed is not as much a factor. If the game goes into extras, we will still have a player that knows how to hit home runs and get RBIs.

What do you think about taking out pivotal players in order to increase your chances of winning now?
